Currently administer call center with 20 agents for customer service. Troubleshoot and administer reporting capabilities for customer service on daily weekly and monthly basis. Document and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place for telephone system. Configure and maintain all telephone connections for each location ensuring uptime and reliability. Systems Administrator- Install, maintains, and troubleshoots various Microsoft platforms such as Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP client desktops and NT/2000 server environments. Charged with responsibility to ensure virus protection and proper service packs are installed on over 200 client machines and 20 servers. Administer these clients through Active Directory Services and also secure customer documents and areas through group access policies. Set up and administer group policies within the Domain. Web Page Development / Implementation / and maintenance - Program with HTML, Java script, frames, and graphical environment to create interactive web pages for over three years. Enhance web interfaces with Flash Macromedia 5. Basic knowledge of Active Server Pages, and ties for database style web development.
Video Teleconferencing- Polycom, VTEL, REMBRANT, and RADIENCE VTC Suite experience. Troubleshoot IDNX, Fiber Optic, and RJ-45 communication lines. UniSource Energy Services August 2003 to present
Member of Network services group tasked with responsibility for network reliability and maintenance pre and post acquisition. Part of an implementation team that recently swapped out network devices for UniSource Energy Services Electric division. Team lead for toll bypass between all UNS large properties for cost benefits on a corporation level. Member of Meta Group that is responsible for outlining the procedures in which UNS responds to security patches for all devices (Firewall, Routers, Switches, Servers, ect.) and how UNS should handle exploited vulnerabilities within the system. Currently part of a team tasked with the redesign of Gigabit backbone connectivity for 5 Campus locations. Providing ROI for all IT projects proving the increase of shareholder value in company. Maintain and ensure operability of Geographical Information System servers running Smallworld 3.1, Smallworld Internet Application Server, and Oracle server. Continually keep vendor relationships between carriers, and consulting services with UES Gas open and available for future expansion projects and or visionary design that will better the business.
Citizens Arizona Gas August 2001 to 2003
Lucent G3SI telephone administrator responsible for moves, adds, changes and outage troubleshooting. Nortel Networks switch and router experience for troubleshooting, configuring circuits and ensuring network availability. Network lead responsible for maintaining WAN Links and equipment to corporate headquarters in Dallas Texas and to Rochester New York. Tasked to replace networking infrastructure with Cisco routers and switches and completed goal in less time than allocated. Local Citizens Public Sector network administrator contact for Network Operations Center group tasked with troubleshooting issues with different carriers. Maintained and troubleshot small computers for all users. Created Voice over IP core infrastructure, call center, and administrative with no prior specialty training on system. Ensured VoIP locations could communicate without toll charges in order to conduct productive operations. Created Vendor relationships for Citizens Arizona Gas network and consulting services.
United States Air Force August 1997 to 2001
Initialized, tested, and maintained operational data and telephone circuits on a daily basis. Performed circuit enhancements by compiling data for troubleshooting, re-wired cross connects and laying new cable. Tested communication lines under time constraints and utilizing experience and training to bring circuits back online, keeping circuits online. Tested, configured, and installed equipment / software within a tactical environment. Installed and maintained fiber optic lines for routers, switches, and Canoga Perkins fiber modems. Lead technician for intranet web server and web site. Created and maintained Disaster Recovery procedures. Called upon as a team member that created and installed the first Network Operations Security Center for Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Installed Windows NT, UNIX servers and desktops for NOSC. Configured and maintained multiple switches, routers, and keyboard video mouse adapters for operational use.
